"done"

Well I could add tiny details forever but in the interest of time I had better call this one finished, at least for now.

Time to button things up and slap this reel together finally!

Nice. I like the chainmail mesh and the fact that she isn't wearing a metal thong like most heroines in 3D. What did you model in?

Hi Amy!

I did all of the modeling in Modo. A few of the pieces I did a little sculpting on in Zbrush. I would have done more sculpting but I need to move onto something else.

Thanks for checkin out my blog.

Are you on cgtalk? :0 You should post up your work there and get critiques, maybe even noticed!

Hey Chris!

Awesome model man! really coming along! I would suggest working on the metal material in the plate mail a little more. Check out this reference:

Notice on the breast plate, there is a bumpiness, imperfections on it. I'd throw a fractal(noise) into the specular or bump channel on the armor, to break up the highlights. Also play with the color a bit, vary it up a little. Maybe put a dirt/dust layer into the armor as well. It will make certain parts of the armor more hot in the highlights (where the metal is clean), and others less so (where there is dust/dirt). It will add some greater realism to the image!

Forms look good though!
